Sales People Wear Masks
Customer service, networking, outgoing, energetic, these are all types of masks that sales people wear. How can you really tell if someone can sell? I wish I really knew the right answer to that question. With all the years I have been hiring sales people, I know more what a sales person isn’t than what they are. Top sales people are not quiet, they talk a lot! Top sales people are not arrogant, they are not shy, they have a confidence that is magnetic. They are not detail oriented, but speak about accomplishments and the passion they have for winning. Top sales people don’t hide, they are comfortable in their transparency and somehow they make you want to be transparent. Sales is more a way of being than it is purposeful doing. If you can eliminate what a salesperson isn’t you might just have one!

Pain Has A Name:
Be the labor big or small, do it well, or not at all! Hiring can produce A Superstar, A Game Changer or A Replacement of what you had. When a position comes open, we all have the opportunity to top-grade the Who. So why don’t we?………Because it’s hard. It requires change, time, and money. It is often times easier to live in the arms of mediocrity than looking in the mirror and raising the standard. But…..PAIN has a NAME and it never goes away without intentional effort and a specific strategy. Top talent is out there, are you willing to make the necessary investments to attract it and retain it? I AM!
Truth has a sound.

Change, What Is It?We recently had a sales meeting here at Govig Senior Care and the topic was Change. The purpose of the meeting was to generate awareness towards a contributing factor that compels a human being to make decisions that will implement some form of change in their lives, with a focus around employment. So what motivates an individual to want to change their current employment, what are some of the factors? Finances, growth, environment, location, opportunity are just a few factors that we came up with. Everyone has different reasons for wanting to make a change, different motivating factors that influence their decisions, our goal is to identify those reasons and assist a candidate in making a decision that is in their best interest. So if you have been needing to make a change with your current place of employment and are ready to move on we strongly encourage you to contact us today! |

Success can only be obtained in the NOW
I used to think NOW was only a reference to WHEN you did things. I NOW realize it’s a lifestyle. Being in the now means you don’t allow anything to steal your thoughts or your time. This is the true measure of discipline. The battle we all face always starts in our heads, once our thoughts are stolen, our time follows and then it leads to our identity and self-esteem. Success is the ability to live in congruency with both your WHO and your DO. The present only exists in the NOW. The only time you can do anything about is NOW. Now is easily wasted by reliving the past and day dreaming about the future. Guard your thoughts so they stay in the present, put all your daily actions into NOW and focus on what matters most and leave the rest alone. Taste and see success like you have never experienced before!
Now is Game ON!

The Govig Senior Care difference, what is the difference?
I could sit all day and talk about how great we (Govig Senior Care) are and how much better we are than other recruiters in the senior housing industry, I could give you all the reasons that I can come up with that put us ahead of the competition, I could even outline our past successes and show you our track record and emphasize customer satisfaction and placement retention. All of these things speak volumes for Govig Senior Care and our ability to perform, but they miss the point. So what is the point, what is the objective, what is the desired outcome? In my eyes the desired outcome is the residents or more accurately the resident’s health and wellbeing, the comfort that the residents feel every day in their homes, their sanctuaries. The residents in senior living communities are dependent on each and every employee of the community, from the director of dining to the chief financial officer. Residents are dependent on every employee providing the highest possible resident satisfaction. We identify passively looking candidates who would be open to opportunities as they are available.
At Govig Senior Care we strive to match the perfect candidate with the perfect client, we work tirelessly to ensure that the candidate is going to be the best fit for the client. We look for candidates who are actively engaged in their current and past work environment.
Are you a Senior Care Facility in need of an outstanding executive level employee; would you like to experience the Govig Senior Care difference?

2012 A Year of Multiplication
To multiply means to take action within a process that produces a condition of being multiplied. (free dictionary.com) We all know everyone has the same amount of time but how you choose to use it can be very different. Time can be multiplied when you say “NO” to distractions. Saying no can increase your capacity to say “YES”. Saying yes to the right things will multiply your time. Business and people are no different. WHAT you spend your time on and WHO you spend your time with can cause multiplication or subtraction.
The future is the consequence of the actions you are taking today. When you decide to take action today about what you want tomorrow, your future will be what you want. I encourage you to go to futureme.org. Email yourself in the future to help yourself with the NO’s.
2012 the year where NO = Yes!
Wishing you the best in the New Year,
